I often refer to myself as a Geek, this is good as I am proud to be a Geek.

One thing I have noticed is that when I refer to myself as a Geek to a normal human, they seem to think it’s some sort of derogatory term.

I think the word Geek belongs to us (Geeks), so if you’re a Geek you can call yourself and other Geeks a Geek.  But it could be rude depending on the tone, for a normal human to refer to you as a Geek (or for you to call a normal human a Geek).

Hmm..  I shall continue to ponder this.

New year ‘n all.  I have lots of stuff going on but I don’t think anyone would really be interested.  Not that I’m usually put off by silly thoughts like “do I actually care if anyone is listening?”  I just like to rant.  But today I am very tired and my brain feels like Ozzy Osbourne on a bad day.  So I’ll not post anything important or interesting… at all.

Although, I did notice today that whenever I go into a bank the 4-5 people already at the tellers take a reeeealy long time to finish their transactions, then once they go everyone else is in and out lickety split.  Seems to happen to me all the time.
